In this course, learners are introduced to Indigenous education as a framework for holistic and lifelong learning, as practiced by Indigenous ceremonialists, knowledge carriers, scholars, and community members. Elements of Indigenous philosophy are examined within the context of a participatory and experiential knowledge system, along with the principles and processes essential to understanding and engaging with Indigenous ways of knowing and being in North America.
